Aura Canvas is a trading name of Tech-Fit Technologies, the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect
- your name, email address, phone number and delivery address;
- the photographs you upload and any notes you add to your order;
- order details and payment status received from Paystack;
- basic technical and analytics data, such as browser type and pages visited.
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Paystack.
Why we collect it
- to make, fulfil and deliver your order;
- to communicate with you about your order;
- to provide customer support;
- to meet our legal and accounting obligations;
- to improve our website.
Lawful basis
We process your information to perform our contract with you, with your consent, where we have a legitimate interest such as improving our service, and where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to serve you:
- Paystack, to process your payment;
- our printing partner, to produce your canvas;
- our courier, to deliver it;
- Vercel, for website hosting and file storage;
- Resend, to send order emails;
- our analytics provider, to understand how the website is used.
We never sell your personal information.
Your photographs
Your photographs are used only to produce your order. They are never published or used in marketing without your separate written consent. We delete them from our storage within 90 days after delivery, unless you ask us to keep them for a reorder.
Cross-border transfers
Some of our service providers store data outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on providers that offer an adequate level of protection, as POPIA requires.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls and unguessable storage locations for uploaded photographs.
Retention
We keep order and financial records for as long as the law requires. Photographs are kept as described above.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it;
- ask us to correct or delete your information;
- object to the processing of your information;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

Cookies and analytics
